Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PlunWorld (the "Game"), developed and operated by GameMax ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

  • You register with a username and password only. Keep your credentials secret — you are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • Adding a recovery email is optional but strongly recommended; without it we may be unable to restore a lost account.
  • Accounts may not be sold, rented, gifted, or transferred. Buying or selling accounts, currency, or items for real money outside the official store ("RMT") is prohibited.
  • You may permanently delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account, or via our Account Deletion page.

3. License to Play

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to play the Game for entertainment purposes, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted remain with GameMax.

4. Virtual Items and Currency

  • The Game features virtual currencies (including Gold, Red Diamond, Green Diamond) and virtual items (equipment, mounts, skins, outfits and similar).
  • Red Diamond can be purchased with real money through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All payments are handled by those stores under their terms; refund requests for purchases are made through the store you bought from.
  • Virtual currency and items are a license, not property. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and cannot be refunded except where required by law or by the applicable store's policy.
  • If your account is terminated for violating these Terms, all virtual items and currency are forfeited without compensation.
  • We may adjust, rebalance, add or remove virtual items and game mechanics at any time as part of operating a live game.

5. Rules of Conduct

You agree not to:

  • use cheats, bots, macros, automation tools, exploits, or any unauthorized third-party software that interacts with the Game;
  • exploit bugs for gain (report them instead — silently abusing a bug may lead to rollback and sanctions);
  • attack, disrupt, or overload our servers, or attempt to access other players' accounts;
  • harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or use hateful, obscene, or illegal content in names, clan names, or chat;
  • impersonate GameMax staff;
  • engage in RMT (real-money trading) of accounts, currency, or items;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the Game client except where the law permits.

Violations may result in warnings, temporary locks, permanent bans, removal of items or currency, and rollback of transactions — at our reasonable discretion based on our records.

6. Fair Play and Enforcement

All game results are decided by our systems, and we keep security logs (see the Privacy Policy) to detect cheating and fraud. Automated systems may flag suspicious activity, but sanctions are reviewed by a human before being applied. You may contact support@plunworld.live to appeal any sanction.

7. Availability, Maintenance and Changes

The Game is provided as a live online service. We may perform maintenance (with the Game unavailable during that time), change features, or discontinue the service. Where reasonably possible we will announce significant changes and any end of service in advance. We are not liable for downtime or data loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

8. Platform Providers (Apple & Google)

  • These Terms are between you and GameMax, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Game or its content, and have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it.
  • Apple and Google (and their subsidiaries) are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
  • You must also comply with the applicable store terms (Apple Media Services Terms / Google Play Terms of Service) when downloading or using the Game.
  • Any claims relating to the Game (product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, IP) are handled by GameMax, not by Apple or Google.

9. Intellectual Property

All content in the Game — art, code, design, names, logos, sounds and text — belongs to GameMax or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except where the law permits.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. It forms part of these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GameMax shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or virtual items. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Game shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 6 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections in your country.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GameMax harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Game.

14. Termination

You may stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, following the enforcement process in Section 6. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-game or on this website before they take effect. Continuing to play after changes take effect constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, stop playing and delete your account.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Vietnam, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.

17. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement — these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and GameMax regarding the Game.
  • Severability — if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
  • No waiver — our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment — you may not assign your rights under these Terms; we may assign ours to a successor of the Game with notice to you.
